The Poker Aquarium

Smerfs, intentionally mispelled here in case someone outside our group is watching, is on PartyPoker this evening... and I'll be damned if he's not doing well... at STT. The first two I saw him play, he won. One a 50$ NLHE where he got hit by the deck but didn't donk off chips like normal. Second one a 10$ omaha h/l in which he pretty much dominated though I will admit I didn't watch this one real closely. He's in the process of playing two more... well wait he just busted out of the 50$ NLHE one... but he's going strong in the 10$ stud h/l STT.

Strong was maybe the wrong word, he just lost two consectuve multiway pots. heh. Doing well may be an overexaggeration too... but I'll say I'm stunned by his totally different style of play. A tournament structure clearly alters is kamikaze play.

I'm praying he hits a cash table and drops another 2k tonight.

Update: he just finished third in the stud stt and has moved into a 100$ stt. Let's hope he wins. ;p
